that little Italian place at the end of the new bridge is gonna be a café  and I've heard that they kings arms are opening a Frankie and benny's restaurant  |

I seen workme going into the one at the end of the bridge last week . Glad the Kings Arms is opening soon.i was starting to think it was never gonna open again --A frankie and Bennys would be ok !!

I have noticed that ALL of the trades working on the Italian are from Alnwick, No doubt the new proprietors will be looking to Alnwick for customers rather than expecting Berwick folk to support his enterprise

lol I had a look in the kings arms window when I parked on hide hill and they said an Italian is opening soon, there was a notice saying 3 course meals for .........I forgot, but it wasn't expensive  |

That will be 3 reasonably sized shops on just one side of the high street and ive never seen anybody in that new money shop--dont know if it does much trade or not !

was talking to somebody today and he'd bought a pair of walking shoes half price and a further 33% off they say the rates and rents are cheaper in Newcastle than Berwick high street, no wonder they'e closing |
