No beer tent never has been Dont know about lifeboat trips depends if the high heed yins give permission There will be a visit by the helicopter from boulmer unless it gets called out Bad plannung by BARK this date was set last year. This just goes to show we need a diary kept somewhere so people can check to see if anything else is on when they are planning an event

On behalf of all at the lifeboat I would like to say sorry about the helicopter not making it the reason was it developed a fault on its way here and had to go to Boulmer for repairs. But a BIG thank you to all who came down and supported the fete

theres a pic in the journal of the helicopter and lifeboat rescuing a drifting boat yesterday morning, the boat had no radio just a mobile phone and the chopper pilot guessed their position, thats 2 in 2 days without radios, they were saying there cud have been fatalities had they not have had their mobile phones

They have no idea about safety at sea, navigation, position plotting etc and if the little outboard motor packs in they're at the mercy of the elements..... They have to have a screw loose somewhere....... I think there should be a law where the "skipper" is prosecuted - and the "crew" have to attend a session with the RNLI where the very real dangers they put themselves into are explained to them.....
