should take a leaf out of Alnwicks book -they always seem to manage to get things done . Now they have that music thing at the castle every year .surely we could have something like that here !! Mind i hear that Jimmy Cricket was a roaring success at Tweedmouth Bowling Club last nite !!!

Unfortunately, as Berwickers we seem to prefer to moan about things, rather than do anything to resolve them. This leaves a vacuum for interfering interlopers to take over....

I think the Black and Gold holds about 200, Rugby club about the same, would be a dear ticket to make it pay! i was thinking more of an outside location - could Shielfield Park rival the Stadium of Light as a venue?

Should be used for more than just football and speedway.

I would love to see a decent act come to the town, unfortunately would it be supported? Comedians seem very popular, but is Shielfield too small to pay? Does it have to be somewhere all seated?
Back on thread, we do need young minds to drive things forward. Interestingly, the Portas people seem to be all in their 50's - well below the average age of Berwick residents, but no spring chickens.
