what's happening with that portas thing nothing seems to have changed  bet the money's in somebodys pocket lol see brian douglas wanted old pringles workers to contact him about starting up a small knitwear company don't think he would get many takers, fat lot of good the regeneration lot did when pringles closed, they were taking on to regenerate the town but nowt was done, the pringles workers were left to their own devices and they got big fat pay packets for doing nowt  |

Certainly take my hat off to some of the younger generation in the town - I believe Robert Smith Junior is behind the Rite Bite shop - great food and seems busy.
Mrs Smith at the TownHouse is forward thinking to and has done well to set up a Chocolate Parlour, which seems to be very good - and still pushing the Christmas Market too!

see lizzie middlemiss is going to be on the tv show 4 in a bed, not joking they've been up filming it already, thought she didn't run a B@B any more, thought she was bankrupt but it appears not !!!!!!

Is Lizzie Middlemiss of SallyPort still bankrupt? She had refused to pay me fair wages for my work at Deyn's Deli and at her new ice cream parlour business (tentatively called The Clumsy Seagull, name to be confirmed). How did she get to start a new business? I had worked for LIzzie Middlemiss for about two days, and she has not paid me for the agreed rate of wage. When I submitted my timesheet, she wrote all over it, changing my wage rate which we had agreed on before, and changing my hours, and then putting in an amount that would be below the national minimum labour wage rate. All I'm asking for is £63 and she has refused to pay me. I'd be careful for anyone wanting to work for her. Berwick needs to thrive but not with locals fleecing other locals. |

I too, and one other that I know of are also a victim of Lizzie Middlemiss and her failure to pay wages. She is a victim of her own nastiness and I hope that when she does eventually go bust (again, and it will happen) that she is not given the opportunity to start all over again and treat more people with disrespect. The way she was portrayed in 3 in a bed, is exactly how she carries on in day to day life. Bitchy, huffy and down right rude. Why some locals (a very small few) continue to be sucked in by her is anyones guess, but she does not deserve any help from anyone.
