From The Berwick Advertiser:
SIR Alan Beith has been re-elected as MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed.
However, he has seen his majority dramatically cut after a close run ballot.
Sir Alan polled 16,806, with pro-hunting Conservative candidate Anne-Marie Trevelyan in second place with 14,116.
Sir Alan's majority is just 2690 compared to more than 8000 in 2005.
Labour's Alan Strickland came third with 5061, UKIP's Mick Weatheritt was fourth with 1243, while the BNP's Peter Mailer received 1213.
Turnout was 67 per cent up 3.7 per cent on five years ago.

There's always the next election to change things. Looks like things might change here at the next election.
