 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- travel company flyglobespan have gone bust , 4,500 people who are stranded abroad are not gaurenteed to get home free of charge , people who have booked future flights will not get their money back , unless they booked by credit card WHICH INCLUDES EMRE booking for wifes pal , to go to cyprus on 26th jan, so we are going to have a full morning on the phone me thinks

aw i seen that on the news, it's awful looks like the credit crunch has hit them, but if you bought them with a credit card you'll be covered by the card company  |

We regret to advise that flyglobespan ceased trading on December 16th 2009.
You will now need to make a new flight reservation with a different flight provider.
We strongly recommend you book this through Travel Republic without delay as capacity with other flight providers is limited.
If your booking was made on or after 1 January 2009 you are covered through our Total Financial Protection scheme and are entitled to a refund on the cost of the flight.
We will be arranging this, prioritising customers in departure date order, and expect to have processed all refunds by 31 January 2010.

getting a full refund from travel republic who i booked through / and she got a next day flight from glasgow through thomas cook PHEW / still feel for the people who booked direct to globespan those poor people have lost their money
