TWEEDMOUTH war memorial has been given listed status to coincide with Armistice Day.
On the expert advice of English Heritage, 16 war memorials have been listed by Ben Bradshaw MP, secretary of state for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
Tweedmouth war memorial was commissioned by the town's inhabitants and is situated at the end of the Old Bridge.
