Its been on the local news that all 3 aircraft are grounded, the Teeside one's contract has run out and they are trying to renew it, the Cumbrian 1 has a fault and the spare put could take up to 2 weeks to get here and the Otterburn 1 is under going major maintainence. Not really a good sittuation They hope to have one back in the air by the weekend or Monday at the latest

if the government took 10 kwid a day off the alcoholics they fund at 20 kwid a day, that should cover it / you never know ,an alchie might need to be flown t he toon for an emergncy liver transplant

I aggree that this ,along with other air medic services, should be funded by the government, but I think there is more chance of hell freezing over before that happens

If the tories win the next election, they'll probably give it to BUPA, who will then close it because it is "uneconomic to run" - translation: "way too far north of Watford and we can't make any money out of it"
Maybe we should be grateful for what we have.....
