THOUSANDS of people flocked to the seaside for a weekend of traditional fun as Spittal Improvement Trust staged its second festival.

The event offered two great days out for the family, with free entertainment ranging from live music to Punch and Judy shows.
And with the sun beating down, the crowds turned out
