it hasnt even been approved yet and doesnt it ssip you off a bit town committees objecting why dont they ask the public what they want instead of numptys that probably dont even live in the town, the town centers still stowed off most days regardless whats on the outskirts

If you want to see the effect of out of town shopping go up to Dunbar or North Berwick high st

never been to notice , i just know theres not much change here, you siill cant get parked, in the town centre, the high streets always busy

Sorry but you have to have big shops to bring the people in to use the smaller shops even Haddington is having a campain to keep Tesco in town instead of going to the outskirts. The people up there know that if that happens their town will die

The people up there know that if that happens their town will die well sam i think berwick is already dead, i mean for shopping. now gala has asda n tesco, been a few times but not once wandered into the other shops on the high st. i can get all i want in the supermarkets including clothes. give us an out of town retail park. move farmfoods there, give us a big superstore , maybe a couple of clothes shops and if its not asking too much a food outlet like pizza hut, kids love it. oh and plenty of free parking. and while im on parking. has any one got a take on why on a wed n sat disabled folk shouldnt be disabled coz the market stall holders take over..  it boils ma piss |

berwicks been like that since they closed pringles and took on the degeneration force what a p***S take that was not a job not a foosh did they bring to the toon and walked away wi a golden handshake for doing f*** all you can tell i'm angry but only coz i care aboot the place not for masel but for folk who need jobs to keep their family and a roof ower their heeds i've worked all ma life  |

oh and forgot to say maybe there'll no be a market shortly coz the new unitary cooncils put the stallholders rent up by 50% so they'll think twice aboot coming  |

heard a while ago that K F C was gonna build up by curries ! not sure exactly where it would fit in . anyhow never heard any more so dont know what happened
