heard on tonites local news a tornado was seen on holy island .anyone else heard this ? Thats really interesting - I knew tornadoes were a lot more common in the UK than people think but usually down south and not this far north (see link below) news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7010172.stmWhen I used to go down to Suffolk we used to get mini tornadoes working their way up the river and hitting the boats. Although they were quite small compared to the ones you see in america they could still pick up a park bench and throw it a couple of hundred yards  |
