Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said he "does not rule out any sanction", as he pledges to restore trust after the expenses revelations. What is your reaction?
The latest revelations about politicians' expenses focus on MPs who backed a move two years ago that would have prevented the publication of receipts.
Met officers and Crown Prosecution Service lawyers will look at complaints made against individual MPs to see if they merit a criminal investigation.
Have you lost faith in politicians? How can MPs regain your trust? Is it enough to pay back the money claimed on expenses? Have these revelations put you off voting? Do you support the Daily Mail's bid to bring private prosecutions?
