although i didnt hear it myself i am told our new sheriff was interviewed on radio borders a couple of days ago . apparently on 2 or 3 questions he was asked about the town his reply was " i dont really know anything about it " oud think he might have genned himself up a bit on things about our town before going on air !!!

well i was quite surprised to find he is our colourful local builder and his sheriffs lady is the owner of a recently opened art gallery !

Not a native of the town, mixes in certain circles, looks to be a soap dodger - like Richard Branson?
Last person to remind me of Branson (the convicted fraudster), adopted a similar persona and did immeasurable damage to our town, we lost Pringles but gained a regeneration team, amongst other things
