I visited Seahouses on Saturday and could not believe how busy it was, absolute madness but brilliant for the town.
I returned to Berwick and felt very depressed! The town was like a morgue in comparison.
WHY?

For several years our local council went out of the way to promote Seahouses and Wooler to the detriment of Berwick itself.
May be this is the result.
also many from Tyneside love a run up the coast, a cheaper option to going abroad?

Seahouses always busy from easter onwards-sometimes no spaces left in the car parks!!
even on bank holiday monday Berwick wasnt busy !
