Not the family that has Foulis, although they are looking for another place.
Heard that Berwick Borough Housing are buying it to save on rent (a touch of irony there?).

Yes, I believe so - I don't know if they would then have their stores / workshop in the same building. it would make sense

It is criminal that we have and had tradesmen coming from Tyneside and County Durham, while our local craftsmen have no work.
Only one councillor tried to stop the housing stock being sold, if memory serves correctly

So the council are against the Lizzy being demolished and the site turned into affordable housing !!! Are they gonna just let it go to rack and ruin like other empty sites in the town  |

with a bit of work it would make a canny respite facility for people wi learning disabilities etc .theres no enough respite available in the town which means some people have to travel to Blyth to access respite ..It would be a right waste of time tho cos weve tried before and it was a NO GO from NCC and Berwick council !!!! Usual answer --No Money !!!
