I was under the impression that the govt' were going to sponsor soldiers' courses to become teachers. All you needed was a degree and they would pay the rest. Turns out now they want 9k + expenses and a place is not guaranteed.
So I do the army battlefield nonsense, get near the end of a university degree and find out I have to pay more. Looks like this fine man is not going to be teaching after all. I would like to consider it someones else loss, but I worry that it's the schools and kids that are missing out on prospective teachers with a different outlook than other, more mainstream teachers.

Only in as much as I knew they were not to be trusted. No harm done really. It's just disappointing.

well i think our government owe all the brave people who put their lives on the line in the army etc . very annoying when we all know they would willingly hand £9000 to any illegal immigrant without a second thought !!!
