Story is the maternity unit in berwick is closing 2morrow (wed )---but only temporarily !!!! thing is once these things close they very rarely open again!!!

Ive heard theyre saying that instead of new mums being transferred back to berwick after the birth they will be sent to alnwick --well thats still too far away for visitors to travel !!!
dunno if it was a sudden decision to close it or if its been planned for a while .
true what my hub says --no gonna be any true berwickers soon cos all birth certificates will be wansbeck or borders , maybe theyre trying to slowly wipe berwick off the map !!!!
