An ambulance crew called to assist an injured man on Holy Island were trapped on the island by the incoming tide .the injured person was airlifted off the island and the ambulance crew were brought to the mainland by lifeboat and their vehicle was returned to them later . If the authorities had got their own way and taken away one of our 2 ambulances what would have happened then if there'd been a major accident !! just proves we DO need 2 ambulances !!!
