never been in the shop at highfields for a long time but i think its a busy little shop ! been a shop for a long time that so hope somebody buys it . must be hard tho wi Morrisons and Aldi just a stonesthrow away !!!

I am told that the imminent opening of Majestic Wines is the final blow for the Highfields Store (285k), has lost a lot of trade to Morrisons and fears that he will lose a lot of wet sales now.
Black and Gold open matchdays and speedway nights, can see their point - why make money at weekend and then lose it during week when one person might come in?

I hear that Highfields Store has changed hands, looks to be open later. i am told it is a chap from outside the area who has it.
I don't know how successful Aldis extra hours are, but they certainly won't help Highfieds shop.
