meals on wheels

Ive been told that in order to save more money NCC has now cut Meals on Wheels !!
instead people will be given a menu and will have to pick their meals for the whole week and these will be delivered in one delivery frozen and for the recipients to heat up as they require them .
Iam just wondering that if this is true , how many older people will end up at A & E with burns to their hands etc ,got while removing
hot containers from microwaves !!
i was also told that Mr Beith thinks its a good idea !!

cannot see how theyre saving much cos wasnt it all manned by volunteers
