up at court !!!

I have just had a letter from the criminal justice system informing me that the man who damaged our car a few months ago has done a runner and didnt turn up at court on thursday ---no surprise there !!!!
it also says if we know his whereabouts can we inform them lol ;D
what happened to when people went to court , had their case heard , and were sentenced there and then . must cost a fortune for 2 or 3 different courts for just 1 person !!!
funnily enough in this weeks Tizer another man has been charged wi damage to the first ones car and hes done a runner too lol
