AN official switch-on of the new illuminations on Berwick’s Royal Border Bridge has been hastily rearranged for Sunday, December 12.

The switch-on had originally been planned for November 27 but, along with the town’s Christmas lights switch-on, had to be postponed because of heavy snow.

they are working ok on the posh side of the river, maybe after the hols the berwick side may be fixed

last nite itwas like a disco under the tweedmouth end of the bridge for a while-changing colours rapidly . dont know if theyre supposed to do that or no?
