Spittal's Splash Park (try saying THAT when you've had 10 pints LOL) From The Berwick Advertiser: PLANS to create a splash park in Spittal at a cost of nearly £200,000 could be dashed unless Berwick Town Council gives its support to the project. Councillors have been warned that funders SITA Trust, Veolia and Community Spaces, which have already committed about £140,000, are likely to pull out if a decision is not made by the end of September. Joanne Luther, of Northumberland County CouncilADVERTISEMENT , revealed the news to members of the town council's environment and regeneration committee. www.berwick-advertiser.co.uk/news/Spittal39s-200000-splash-park-plans.6533156.jp
