From The Berwick Advertiser: AS the main visitor season approaches, the groups involved in the Berwick's Future project are stepping up the drive to attract tourists to the town. Three new initiatives have been pulled together to help promote the market town as a great place to visit and stay - beginning with an online makeover. Using part of a a £30,000 grant from Northumberland County Council and One NorthEast, the Berwick Community Development Trust has engaged on-line tourism specialist - New Mind Internet Consultancy – to create a state-of-the-art website promoting Berwick. bet it cost more than £30 k to hire this cosultant ! could they no just have spent that cash on the town its self
