POLICE in Berwick are investigating after it was reported that a young girl was approached by a man in a car in Prior Park last week.

The 11 year-old was out walking her dog on the estate on the evening of Wednesday, May 19 when a man in a car pulled alongside and asked her to get in.

The girl quickly returned home and the police were called.

See you have the same problems as we do. Very sad. When I was a little kid we never had problems like this. At least none I ever heard of. In the summer we played outside from moring till night and never say our parents till it was time to get a bite to eat. Go anywhere in town we wanted and there was never a problem. How times have changed.
