A NEW official tourism website dedicated to Berwick and the surrounding area is being set up to fill a void left since the borough council was disbanded.
A grant of £30,000 has been secured by Berwick Community Trust to develop the new tourism website, along with a similar one for Haltwhistle.
The grant from Northumberland County Council, with support from One NorthEast, will allow tailor made websites to be developed for both towns in order to promote them and their tourism businesses.
