POLICE in Berwick have issued £30 fines to dozens of boy racers driving around the town with souped-up exhausts during the past couple of months.
Inspector Martin Baylis said police were determined to clamp down on anti-social driving behaviour and that more than 30 fines had been handed out so far.
"When we've fined drivers, they've also been told to get standard exhausts fitted to their cars," revealed Insp Baylis at a meeting of Berwick Town Council.
