a flat in this rather persh street , that couldnt be sold because they wanted, half rent and half mortgage, has all of a sudden been turned into a halfway house, with a very expensive alarm and cctv linked to the ecilop station installed, the woman upstairs is up in arms, coz this has more than likely had her flat devaluated, and the camera will be invading her privacy, even though they say it only covers a small area round the back, yet when she asked to see the camera working, she was refused, one thing certain i will be renewing my cctv, which was damaged during the alterations, seems they can do what they want without even consulting people that have to live here, they told the woman if theres any trouble just phone the ecilop, ?

think this is gona come to a head very soon / without being prejudice, yes every vunerable person needs to be protected, but why put them in a very reasonabe street that sees very little bother, ie it was on the news last week / a man with learning difficulties was placed into a halfway house in manchester area, one of the neighbours took it in his head the man was a protected paedophile, result = a lynch mob of 7 people kicked the daylights out of the man theyve all been arrested, and the man is on the mend, but this is an example, i wonder if these do gooder social workers and councilers with their immaculate suits on would feel if they had a house next door to them/ not very happy me thinks , one thing i dont understand is / if i wanted to build a stone shed in my back garden it would cost me £50 for planning permision, then it has to be agreed by neighbours/ then publicised in the berwick advertiser/ yet these people just come and do as they fookin please ?/ ps im voting for no bugge ever again

surely your entitled to know who's living in your neighbourhood :-/it might be perfectly harmless but all this secrecy stuff's bound to make folk uneasy, next time you see somebody sniffing aboot ask them

it might be ok, might be somebody in trouble, just seems a funny way to go about it, it's just drawing attention to it
