I was on my way to my hospital to give out some goodies to my favourite doctors & nurses this morning......
When we got just north of Morpeth on the A1 (Northumberland) a Bailey Senator had jack-knifed and was at 90 degrees blocking the road in both directions. Lorries ground to a halt but cars were managing to squeeze past. The towcar was still attached to the caravan but was in a ditch at the side of the road. Luckily all the folks inside were OK
Northumberland has been hit hard by snow in the last 4/5 weeks - and I don't really think the conditions were good enough for towing a caravan.
