From the Berwick Advertiser: DREDGING work costing more than £25,000 is set to take place at Tweed Dock, in Berwick, later this month. The aim is to extract 5000 to 6000 metric tonnes of silt that proves a barrier to ships entering the port. Berwick harbourmaster Duncan Wood explained: "The material comes down the Tweed and the dock acts like a big settling tank, especially on an ebb tide. Actually, theyre probably just doing it cos they've heard a rumour Tokomaru might make a visit at some stage
